The Gaggia Carezza Barista is the most technologically advanced of the manual machines that Gaggia make. It combines the tactile benefits of a manual machine, with many of the digital innovations of an automatic machine. The Carezza has a pre-infusion function for espresso, allowing the maximum flavour to be extracted from the coffee. Added to this is the Carezza’s auto-clean function which gives the machine a quick rinse every time it is turned on.
The boiler is also a thermoblock boiler, meaning that steam and hot water are generated quickly and on-demand. This also reduces the overall power consumption of the machine, leading to energy efficient operation. The temperature of the boiler can be monitored on the Carezza’s inbuilt thermometer.
